“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”
– Martin Luther
Someone would have thought that and that’s how this apple tree ended up in AZ’s backyard. When we visited Kashmir, there were many apple trees and this I know from the pictures at home. I was a 5-year-old then and I have no memory of seeing one. This tree in Minneapolis made me smile. If only, we all planted one tree each, the world would be so much more beautiful.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Next week, I will link your posts on my blog and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees that were shared last week on #ThursdayTreeLove – 19:
What a beautiful tree! The first time I saw one was two years ago at a resort at Nubra and then last year in Manali. It was such a pleasure to pluck the fruit from the tree…

My maternal uncle has a similar apple tree in his home in Scotland. I also truly wish that if all of us could plant one tree. I am enjoying this series. This is my post for this week http://mumbong.blogspot.in/2017/08/roots-of-faith-and-belief.html

I like this apple tree, never seen one from closely. Always felt that I must visit kashmir to enjoy the natural beauty and watch the apple trees. I liked the quote of Martin Luther – defines the attitude, I wish we have the same attitude and our country will be the most beautiful one. Thanks for sharing 🙂 and here’s my link parul.

A lovely tree. I live in an apple producing part of the United States, so we have local apple orchards. There are also two apple trees growing within a block of my house. We are fortunate because apple season is already here. But not all trees are as fortunate. We have an ash blight wiping out ash trees in our area.

Yes, I heard that an Apple tree bears fruits once in two years. You are lucky to see that up close, Alana.

Such a lovely shot…and the tree is so beautiful! Reminds me of our home in Kohima and the beautiful plum tree in our compound that used to bear the juiciest and the sweetest plums I’ve ever had!
