What I did this weekend

94.7% office goers face/ask this question every Monday. (I made that stat up. No research was done and no animals were harmed while quoting these stats.)

I don’t do anything over the weekend. This one or any weekend before this one. If I am not travelling, I am home reading books or blogs and sleeping. Twenty minutes on late Sunday evening is reserved for household chores – laundry, sheets, ordering grocery etc. But that’s it. Nothing less or more.
My favorite part of the two day break is napping after breakfast. Before you think that’s why I can’t lose a gram – let’s go through my routine and help you understand. I get up early on (most)weekends and cycle to Yoga. Once I am back home, I have my breakfast and then I find my Kindle and the bed. That’s the part I love. Reading and not knowing when I dozed off. Of course there I other things I do like watching movies, chatting and walking around the locality but those are not as important as my sleep-time.
It calms me down and the tired me finds home the moment I hit bed.
