The jobs we do, the running around from Monday to Friday each morning to get going for the day, the time we spend with colleagues, the lunches and coffee breaks with folks at work – for me, weekdays are like being on a journey. I come home to dine, sleep and to get ready for the next working day.
Friday nights is when this journey ends and for the next 48 hours, it’s like home coming. No alarm that goes off and is put on snooze, no vending machine, no pings and no mails.
It does feel like home, doesn’t it?

My first time when I was writing out a post with limit on words. I had hardly written half and the word count crossed. I was like “already?” 😀 Yup! “Home” it feels like. It’s one reason why we look forward to it 🙂
