Team Wordoholics : Chapter 29

Aryan felt a piece of cold metal touching the back of his head and then the stern voice made him shake, “Yes, there’s a hole in my soul through which splinters can pass… Ahuja, any castling chances left for you or, shall I ask for your last wish?”

He felt stabbed in the chest. What a suffocating feeling this was. He snapped, “What do you want Shekhar? Why did you call? I know you have something to say and you very well know I am not bothered whether you are alive or dead. Even God leaves devils around and he did the same to you. He saved you! You B****D!!“

“Now you got to the point Aryan. After you and your team killed Darius, what did you think? (laughs) I know what you thought – you thought you are safe, all evidences are dealt with, eye-witnesses are dead and your identity would remain under the wraps. But I have something to tell you. You must be aware of this infamous organization called INSIGNIA. And I have some documents, mind me – the real ones – with me that will put the chief of the organization, Alpha behind bars. Do you want to have a look at those documents or shall I directly hand it over to the authorities? ”

“Show me the documents and piss off you loser! What do you want money? Oh yes, money is the only thing that you can get. After all, what else do you have? Your job – at which you are getting worse every single day ? Or your daughter – who is too scared of you to even love you? Or Tara – who was always mine even when she was with you? Poor you Shekhar, what can you even ask for?”

By now Shekhar’s anger had calmed down but his heart was still throbbing and his head was pounding. Listening Tara’s and Roohie’s name was not something that would ever make him comfortable in such a situation. After all Tara was his one and only love. Tara was on his mind when he heard the click-clack of her footwear and it was Tara who was walking towards them.

Tara’s face had turned red and she shouted at Aryan, “It was my life’s biggest mistake Aryan that I fell for you. I was naïve and I did not know you are this sort of person. I trusted you and you did this to me and my family. I will never forgive you. You are as *** Aryan! A real one and I wish I had never met you!”

Hearing this Aryan burst out laughing. He laughed so hard that some of his men actually came out from the adjacent room to check what was so hilarious. Aryan said, “I was a mistake of your life? Huh! Want to show some nice personal videos of our love-making to your dear husband? Have you forgotten that even after your fairy tale marriage, and having your daughter Roohie, I was the one taking care of your needs? Who do you think you are Tara?”

Tara had nothing further to say and Shekhar could sense the discomfort in the air around. He said, “Aryan, I don’t have time for any of your nonsense. It’s Tara’s and your matter. I have something to tell you. Roohie is in safe hands and I am glad I fulfilled my duty as her father. I have come to tell you that whatever you do from now on, you will not be able to touch me or my daughter. I have the right strings in my hands and I know when and where to pull them. I am leaving and if I do not reach home in the next 30 mins, Cyrus will hand over all the evidences against you Alpha aka Aryan to the Chief of Police, Mumbai.

And yes, just so you know, there is no way these documents will not reach the right people. So your time is up Mr. Aryan Ahuja.

It’s ALL OVER now!”
