The streets of Hong Kong present a beautiful blend of levels due to the geography of the island, modern public transport, trams and high fashion stores. This week, have a look at some shots from the streets of Hong Kong.
Around us the world is always on the go. I prefer stopping somewhere in the middle and soaking in the beauty. Try it to feel what this little practice brings to life. It tells you to breathe consciously and let go. To look around and smile. To stop, experience and then move ahead. On the journey that you had set out for.

Today’s post is Wordless Wednesday #44. Also tagging to Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – December 14, 2016.
The streets gain an old world charm in monochromatic shades. Good photography, Parul.

Great shots – I love when cities are shot in black and white. It’s like they’re supposed to be done that way.

Some amazing clicks, the lack of color brings out the character of the place. The stark reality is equally beautiful.

I agree, it’s an altogether different feeling to stop, marvel at the beauty of wherever you are, let it etch in our mind and then move on.

I loved the use of black and white photography in this series. Brought me right back to vintage photos of my native New York City although the look was different.

What a great message in your post. We often miss the small things in life sifting through the bigger ones. Missing the beauty that’s right in front of our very eyes 🙂

Never been to HongKong, so thank you for the peek into everyday HK. I say everyday HK, because there are so many touristy pics, that are the same thing over and over again, and while they are beautiful in their own right, random clicks like this reveal the unexplored shades of the city. So, thank you. 🙂

Thank you for saying that. I think professional and experienced photographers find beauty that no one can find and amateurs ones like me, just look around and grab a picture of whatever catches our attention. 🙂 Thank you!

Nice shots. The narrow alleys beneath the tall buildings, the roads winding in a way that it looks it ends at a building all look so mysterious.
