“When the weather is hot, keep a cool mind. When the weather is cold, keep a warm heart.” — Ajahn Brahm
On a very warm day over a weekend, we were at the petrol pump getting fuel for our car. It was hot and I wanted to just get done with the task and get home. Then I spotted this tree and that how perfectly placed it was for the the air filling station and the person who was filling air in tyres for the car ahead of us. A slope that leads to the main road and this spot of shade and green. A sight that made me happy. Do you remember this tree from when it rained? Have a look here!
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on May 26, 2022. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

Trees really do belong in urban areas (I should know; I grew up in New York City, the United States’ most populous city) to provide happiness and shade, and this tree does both! Here’s my contribution for today: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2022/05/cherry-tree-may-thursdaytreelove.html

Nice one there: low but spreading. Just right for a city.
This week I have the summer bloomers from my balcony

That’s lovely! And I adore the rainy tree too. I’m a day late, but here’s my tree, bringing memories of freezing days in contrast to your heat.
