If you are checking out this page, it means that my efforts to impress you worked! 😀 Thank you for stopping by!
I am a Bangalorean – as of today, been here for 8 9 years and I love Bangalore! I have a full-time job as an HR Professional and I love what I do! I also love to put my thoughts in writing – sometimes you will like the posts here and sometimes you will like them even more. I am a learner and I feel I have been writing ever since I was a kid and now I am regularly blogging. Oh yes, I am still a kid at heart. Inquisitive, happy and always busy! I also keep the kid in me alive by playing games like Candy crush, Free cell, Klondike, Sudoku, words, etc.
I enjoy spending my time with my husband (no pets and no kids and no plans) though with him I am always out of our house roaming around. We love to see different places and this is just one of the few similar interests we discovered 😉
You will see that this blog is about all things that make me happy, food and a lot of food for thought. Feel free to comment if you find something interesting and leave a message! 🙂 I love being appreciated!

P.S. During April 2014, I took up #zerotohero – Blogging 101. So, as part of Day one assignment, this page also talks about who I am and why I’m here.
Greetings from egypt! Very nice to meet you and learn about you and your blog! ;^)

Hi Parul,
My name is Suchitra Rajan. I write to you on behalf of Clea Public Relations.
We handle clients for Westland publishing house and includes clients who are best-selling authors such as Amish Tripathi, Ashwin Sanghi, Preethi Shenoy, Christopher Doyle and so on.
Currently we would like you to review Ashwin Sanghi’s non-fiction book “13 steps to bloody good luck”.
A little bit about the book:
The journey of life isn’t exactly easy…
Some people make it through hard work and talent.
Some fall by the wayside. And some people are just
plain lucky. They are blessed with Bloody Good
Luck!
But is it possible to attract good luck? Can we train
ourselves to be lucky? Apparently it seems that Dame
Luck isn’t that fickle. She is well within our reach.
In his first non-fiction foray, bestselling author
Ashwin Sanghi explores that critical, much-longed
for element called luck.
Through entertaining and informative anecdotes,
narrations of personal experiences and vignettes of
homespun wisdom, Ashwin gives us a whole new
insight into how people can work towards being
lucky.
It seems that luck isn’t entirely the twist of fate that
it is made out to be!
Kindly inform me if you would like to review a book like this?
Also kindly provide me with your address for the same. Do you accept e-copies or do you prefer paperback copy to be sent to you?
Even if you don’t review non-fiction, could you still provide me with your address,
so we can add you in our blogger list and send you a book that would be suited more to your preference?
Thank you,
Regards,
Suchitra Rajan

You must be aware of the issue of hunger in india. It saddens me to be very honest that 1/3rd of the food produced gets wasted while lakhs of people die due to lack of sanitary food…
I have been looking for organisations which would help solve the hunger issues mainly in india… And I was successful in finding this organisation which collects excess food and gives it to the needy. See if you can give it a push on the blog.
