Lalbagh is a famous tourist destination in Bangalore and a significant one for those inclined to explore the varied flora available in the premises. Lalbagh (Literally translated in English as Red Garden) is spread over 240 acres and boasts of trees that are more than 100 years old, inventive bonsai and over a 1000 various kinds of plants and flowers.
Twice every year, Lalbagh hosts a flower show during Republic and Independence Day. Though I am not a regular, this year the famous botanical garden hosted its 200th Flower Show and for me big enough a reason to explore the beauty of the place. So along with VT and a friend on a cloudy Saturday afternoon, we visited the 200th Flower Show.

You can read more about Lalbagh on Wikipedia and do not forget to visit the flower show if you are in Bangalore around 26th January or 15th August. It will be a memorable experience.
Awesome shots:)
