The other day on my walk back home, I noticed this little flower. Among so many flowers that were on the other side of the wall, this little flower found a way for itself. This flower chose to stand out and did something that none of its peers had tried. An opportunity to grow at a place where though it was all alone, it was making its presence felt.

Life is also like that. We may not have the company of our loved ones at all times but we need to survive and stand out. There are opportunities that come our way which may not have been heard before but we need to raise our hand and do what’s expected of us. We need to find solutions out of ordinary situations and stick to the choices we make.
Whether at work or in personal life, we come face to face with challenges that demand us to do things differently. Some of those tricky situations when following the norm would not benefit anyone. Those are the times when we need to not let the rules govern us and dare to be different. Those days when we may be alone on our journey of life but we stay close with the reality that the one who is powerful yet graceful is living life in the truest sense.
I am participating in the Wordy Wednesday for the first time and I am also a big fan of Wordless Wednesdays (#15 this time). So I found a mid way – there are words but fewer 🙂
Just the picture was so inspirational! really! I looked at it for some more time before I read your post! and together they made me feel so good! thumbs up t this one Parul!

Now I know why this was a dilemma. The picture alone….and the words brilliant. We really do need to do things differently when the rule do not help.
PS: Loved the way you combined the two. I hope you plan to do this every week. 🙂

I love your analogy for life and being different as the flower pushing through cement. 🙂 Amazing when that happens! 🙂 And welcome to Wordy Wednesdays Parul….warning: you may get hooked (like I did)! 😉 ❤

Very true. We need to find our way in life, find the strength to overcome obstacles, and the perseverance to continue on in spite of everything.

What a great example of how to hold on to our own identity. I once wrote a short memoir for my family called, Flower on a Cliff in a similar theme.

Loved the way you connected the picture to the wonderful message in your post. In life its always important to follow one’s dreams however different they might be compared to others. It’s always better than just joining the bandwagon for the heck of it.
