Why do you come here? #MicroblogMondays #MondayMusings

This question has been on my mind for quite sometime now and I was meaning to ask this on the bloggers’ support group – B-A-R and Write Tribe but I shied away. So, today after a lot of thought and after thought, I’m asking you readers, why do you come here?

By ‘here’ I mean this blog, this virtual place of mine where I pen my thoughts to writing.

It is because I paid your blog a visit and your visit is a return gift? Is it because you are family, close friend or a peer who wants to encourage me? Is it because I promoted my post on social media and you are a friend who wants to show support? Why?

Share what you feel, respond to my question, show me some support and tell me that it is not just reciprocation.

I am tagging this post for both #MicroblogMondays and #MondayMusings

  1. why isn’t there an option.. is it because you like to read 😛 A lot many reasons Parul.
    1. Because I haven’t found any post so far that’s just for the sake to put up even when u stepped out your comfort zone and started posting regularly, remember?
    2. I read your posts and they are written heartfelt, straight out, or are written to drive a point, or at times are as simple as sharing a simple thought of yours.
    3. There’s the blogging connection we share (or so I feel) and you’re among the bloggers I remember the URL and type it right away (I remember my blogosphere URLs.. everyone I read regularly) 😀
    4. I can write a post on reasons 😉 You have a lovely blog and well, don’t need a reason.. cause sometimes i just have to 🙂 Best wishes!

  2. This one is so simple Parul. I come here because I love to read what you write. Your posts always are a food for thought. Yes I do love and respect you a lot, but it is your brilliance that shines through you posts that keeps me coming back here 🙂

    1. Ha ha! Yeah – like in HR lingo we say this is a leading question or a probing one? I thought the ones who don’t want to say anything will not comment. But those who are seeing that I was a lil low today will see this question in all honesty will help me feel better! 🙂 Thank you! Being simple it is!

  4. I don’t blog so it’s not about reciprocation at all -you may think a friend who wants to encourage you but more honestly because there is a meeting of minds. What you are able to reflect in written word is somewhere trapped in my mind. Call it solidarity or unison, it’s about the nods I am giving as I read each of your posts.
Keep going on girl, yes agree we all need reassurances every now and then, you connect with the hearts and minds of many, so keep going

    Much love

    1. Thank you a bunch Anshu. Yes, there is a meeting of minds and I do agree to that. Being a Non WP user, I feel really good when you stop by and share your thoughts. It serves as such a big encouragement. You have my best in all that is to come. And I know, we will be around in touch so I wont say good bye 🙂 Take care!

  9. It is always the content, Parul. There is only so much someone can/will do for reciprocation. Your personality shines through your posts, and that makes it a more authentic, warm and interesting read. That is why I come. 🙂

  10. HI Parul – You have to answer my question first, for me to reply you?

Have you ever read your own blog post? remember the one you shared about ur grandmum, latest about the sibling, and many others too.. Can you tell me what is in those? Those are your emotions. I love to read any posts for that matter, if it’s written from heart.

Reciprocation is definitely there, but reciprocation for the emotions which you pour in here.

      1. Parul .. maybe I wasn’t clear about the question. Have you ever read your own blog post? Do you see what reflects in those posts; if you realize, what is in there, you will know, why people come to your posts.

Let me mention it for you. Your posts are written from your heart. Those incidents have touched you in some way or the other. Your posts are emotive and evocative. Hence, people come back to read those.

  11. Because each of your posts are from the heart and truly superb.
Moreover, your blog is among the few I have bookmarked for regular reading in the sense that though I may not be able to read daily, but I make it a point to read all the posts I have missed in one go :).

I was actually stunned to see the amount of research one can do for the challenge as well as the post.. and the way you express your thoughts with so much of simplicity yet you add so much of uniqueness to it.. You are one blogger whose blog I never fail to check.. and if work stucks in between then I hop when I’m done.. but I love to read you 🙂
Glad to have connected with you.. 🙂
