#MicroblogMondays – Christmas is here

Seasons Greetings
Seasons Greetings

Christmas has changed the look and feel of Hong Kong.

Buildings
Buildings have these lights and patterns

Every other building is well decorated with lights and Christmas trees are set up.

Another decoration and tree
Another decoration and tree – this teddy was so cute

The festivities, the celebrations and carols can be heard all around.

That cute Snowman
That Snowman and his team

Malls have “Jingle Bells“, “Joy to the world” and “Rudolf the red nose reindeer” playing on an infinite repeat mode. Sales, offers, freebies and festivities are in the air and I can’t stop admiring the happiness that I can feel during this visit.

Christmas Tree

I feel grateful to be around experiencing this culture and getting to live through along every single day.

Decorations!
Decorations!

Around the world, festivals bring people together and this time in Hong Kong, I just feel the same.

I have never done two posts in a day but there is always a first time 🙂 Tagging this to #MicroblogMondays and this is the Best Christmas Ever 🙂

  1. You always publish such great photos! It is amazing to me that half way around the world, decorations and celebrations this time of year are so very similar! We are all so very connected. Fun, beautiful post! Thank you for sharing!

  2. Yes, you are absolutely right with that last line… festivals really do bring everyone closer. And its nice to see Christmas bring out the same sense of childish joy with teddies and snowmen decorations all over the globe.. Happy Holidays 🙂

  3. Gorgeous photos of some serious decorations. Hong Kong is definitely feeling the holiday spirit. I have to admit though, that giant teddy bear creeps me out a little! Love the sparkly giant snowmen. Enjoy your trip!

  4. Hong Kong looks like a really fun place to be this time of year. It’s pretty cool too see that nearly the entire town gets into the spirit of the season. While the bright lights are really cool, it’s the snowmen above that really got me smiling.
