A mirror and that reflection

The Weekly Photo Challenge prompt (Mirror)  this time was for me. I was nodding at each word Jen had put on the post. As a photography lover, I have begun to see things in a frame. It is practice and a lot of observation. More trials and errors. Sometimes, I get the shot I want and sometimes, I fail.

Hampi had been on my travel list for a long time and this year we were fortunate to call it our first road trip of the year. A UNESCO world heritage site and the ruins had many stories to tell. My heart was hungry for more and I was willing to push ourselves to see more monuments on the last day.

As I walked looking around, I stopped by this mirror and then what I saw made me smile. A setting Sun on the west was right next to me in this reflection. Not just that, you can see the reflection of a monument and a cyclist. This picture summed up Hampi for me.

I wasn’t able to check off Hampi from my travel list. I will visit many more times for the Sun and the scenes. That’s what travel does to many. It leaves us yearning for more.

Mirror and reflection
Spotting this reflection was one of the highlights of my trip.
