A little selfie enthusiast

On our way back to Delhi, we met a little selfie enthusiast. She was eleven months old. Travelling with her parents, she was having fun on the train. Some milk and Real juice to keep her full, her parents were also enjoying the journey to her grandparents in Delhi.

Our seats were in front of each other and like us, many passengers were keeping an eye on her. We wanted her to stay safe. Sometimes holding the window grill and sometimes knocking things off the table, she had little toys that were too boring.

However, there was one thing that was enough to keep her on the seat. The phone camera. Her parents knew the trick and kept her engaged.

For Day 7 of #NaBloPoMo, this is a microblog and a travel story. The picture I clicked is tagged to Mundane Monday

  1. haha such a sweet selfie enthusiast. For some reasons, kids these days know how to pose for selfies. My daughter must have learnt whatever little she does from my sis because she is a crazy selfie person! 🙂

  2. She’s got inquisitive eyes.
My nephew Yuvraj was the same when he was a baby. Even at less-than-a-year-old, he knew when he was being photographed, and would show us his best photo face, even if he’d been crying a moment ago!

  3. Oh, how sweet! Maybe, if she’s lucky, they’ll give her old clocks and things to take apart and tinker with – maybe she’ll grow up to be an engineer. Sounds and looks like she’s got the curiosity for it!

  4. It’s so fascinating how little ones have such a different relationship to technology than we do. My nieces tend to request lots of photos of themselves and always want to see the results immediately. 🙂 I’m happy to go along with it. I just feel old thinking of growing up in the days of film!

  5. That’s wicked adorable! Reminds me of our youngest – when she was around 6 or 7, she used to borrow my camera, and when she returned it, there were a zillion selfies, from 19 zillion different angles. She’s since (now at the ripe old age of 16) become quite the artist, and eyes are of a particular interest. Love how young brains work.
