The skyscraper watch

That was a full moon night and like a true Moon lover, I took the elevator to the 47th floor to catch a glimpse of the moon. Pollution levels in Hong Kong are at alarming levels and the Moon was out of sight. The sky was dark and smoggy.

The twinkling lights on each skyscraper was a beautiful sight. With the dark sky, these lights were like stars that made me smile.

One of my favorite pastimes is looking at my phone for old photos. This one brought back a few memories of a lovely evening.

For Day 12 of #NaBloPoMo, I am sharing a picture from my Hong Kong trip.

  1. Nice capture, Parul! I believe this 14th (Purnima) the moon will be special, Supermoon, maybe you can catch the sight of moon that night (if there is no pollution that night in Bangalore) 🙂

  2. Loved this pic, Parul!
Do you ever wonder about the people in those lit-up rooms? I always find myself doing that. Whether they are watching TV or working on their PC. Or household chores. Or if there are kids doing homework…

  3. Beautiful skyscrapers all across Hong Kong, Parul. I too like looking back at old photos on my phone, or on my hard drive. Not only do I get to relive where I have been and what I’ve done, but relive memories too. There is nothing like looking back and seeing how far you’ve come, and realising that you learnt a lot 🙂
