What’s that one unique thing about you?

Proud to be uniquely me. People can take me or leave me. I will be fine either way. It’s not my job to make people like me, it’s their choice. I’ve made peace with that and it’s helped immensely!

Oh this is indeed a lovely and powerful thought to read in the morning. I always fight over this with peeps (read my mom) and used to end up so frustrated. I am me and there is no one in the entire universe like me – I love being me!

Being unique is especially hard for women, imo. Not only men, but other women make it difficult. I am who I am and if folks don’t like me for being ME, tough. But that is hard for so many who want to be ‘liked’.
