#WomenAtWork – An emotional healer

I am an emotional healer.

A psychologist by education who wanted to stay away from stagnation.

I left my corporate stint in two weeks,

for I knew that the scene behind human behavior speaks.

I turned to Yoga and moved to India,

and that’s how life took a turn for better.

My life changed as I practiced,

It resulted in acceptance and my health positively reacted.

My family and friends have been on my side,

I am grateful that their support has helped me thrive.

I grew up in a society when men and women are equal,

and I never stop from doing as I will.

Never ever deny the voice of your heart,

for if not you, who will live your dream?

Life is too short to hold yourself back,

stand up for yourself and act on the voice within.

My name is Franziska Krusche and I am an emotional healer.

Today is edition #18 of #WomenAtWork, a photo feature on this blog. If you are interested in participating, please read the inaugural post and join by adding your post below. I would love to see your take on the tag.

Franzi is a yoga instructor at a1000 yoga, Bangalore. I have attended a few of her classes and what I love most there are her nuggets of reflections on life coupled with yoga poses. In her own words, “The last day of your life you will meet the person you could have become. And I hope that day will be a happy one.” You can read more about Franzi on her upcoming website heartofbalance and follow her on the blog’s Facebook or Instagram page.

Thank you Franzi, for sharing your story with us.

How to link?

  • You can only join with a blog post.
  • It would be great to see a picture of a woman at work and a few words about her. If you cannot share a picture, you can share a picture of her workspace. With a real picture, I would still be able to call this a photo post.
  • Use the linky to add your post.
  • Visit others and show some love.

  3. She sounds like an amazing personality… I haven’t heard about emotional healer before. But being a healer itself is a great quality… It comes from within.

  7. It is interesting that for some years now we are seeing so many young people, women especially choosing these kinds of healing professions as their line of work. Says something about where the world is going, slowly but surely. I see this from the point of view of evolution of consciousness, working its way very slowly in the collective psyche of people, especially those who have gone through the whole cycle of material advancement and material success etc. That’s why perhaps we see more open-minded westerners opening to yoga, meditation and Indian spirituality in general. Good post, Parul! Thanks for showcasing amazing women like Franzi.

    1. This is my person observation but I am seeing that women age, they are closer to what life really is all about vs I feel men are still stuck in the material gains. Maybe just my limited exposure and observation. Thanks for stopping by Beloo. Long time 🙂

  9. Good to read about Franzi. How interesting that she came so far away to become a Yoga instructor. Did I tell you, that we had a South Korean family living in my community. Both husband and wife were Yoga teachers. They stayed here for a few years and have now gone back. Fascinating to interact with expats.
