I am a nutritionist and a natural health counselor.
Growing up, simple and healthy eating was the mantra,
since then, holistic way of living became my agenda.
An occupational therapist mother and an airline captain father,
junk food was never a part of our platter.
I studied Nutrition in school and college and got to the core of the subject,
then I taught kids and that built more interest.
Today I help people lead a healthy and natural life.
My suggestions are based on scientific studies and research alike.
My day is divided between talking to clients and answering their questions,
I am also the founder director of my gym that keeps me running.
My work is my passion and I love what I do.
Seeing my clients reaching their health goals,
and making the right choices, doesn’t leave any loopholes.
I want to burst the many myths around healthy living,
and help people remember the essence of our true instincts.
My name is Radhika Mody and I am a nutritionist and a natural health counselor.
Today is edition #19 of #WomenAtWork, a photo feature on this blog. If you would like to know more, please read the inaugural post.
I got to know about Radhika through MS and over our interactions, I have found her to be a determined woman. She runs R2 Fitness Revolution in Brookefield, Bangalore and also blogs here. Radhika would like to share three things with all you readers:
- Always seek professional help with your health and fitness goals. Never blindly follow whatever is told. Ask questions and only when you are certain, follow any advice.
- DO NOT EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR BODY. What may have worked for someone else, may not work for you. Every body is unique.
- Women should weight/strength training. Lifting weight is more beneficial to women than men in many ways. It doesn’t make you muscular but makes you strong, fit and healthy.
Thank you, Radhika for sharing your story and inspiring us.

Lovely meet another determined, confident and courageous woman. Thanks so much for sharing Radhika’s story, and she looks like such a happy woman in the photos you shared. I’ve always wondered what being a nutritionist is like. From the sounds of it, each client Radhika sees is an individual with their individual needs, and she must be a very patient person dealing with such diverse clients 🙂

Oh I so need a person like her. All of us are continuously experimenting with what to eat, how to exercise. I liked what she said – what worked for one person may not work for another. Need to remember that. She looks so fit and vibrant.

She looks so fit and gorgeous! It is nice to see someone so dedicated to what they do and be so passionate about it.
I love this series of yours and I’m so proud of you for the effort and dedication you put into this. I would do this too, but honestly I hardly know other successful women apart from the same line I chose.
P.S: Check out “Knitting Nani” on Facebook. She’s over 90 years old and sells her products via her page. Maybe you can feature her here if she meets your requirement 🙂
