“When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.”
― Patrick Rothfuss

Childhood is a temporary phase of life. Another portrait photography attempt with the Canon at home. Today’s post is #51 of Wordless Wednesdays this side.
Wonderful capture. And very apt quote. Sometimes I feel that all our life we think of our childhood days only & the carefree, tension free life it was. Which brings me to anther quote, I don’t know who – “In order to move ahead, we must look back.” 🙂

Such a candid capture, Parul. Childhood is all about innocence, more than anything and your shot seems to portray that so well. Glad to see your experimentations with the camera. Photography can be very addictive, I can tell you, but thoroughly gratifying, when you are at it! Keep clicking and thanks for joining in with your post. 🙂

Oh man… that saying is so true, isn’t it? Sad that it applies to us all. The world would have been so much better if we could have retained the innocence and wide eyed wonder of the child

This quote is so true. Children live in the now. As we grow older, we are either preoccupied with the future or the past.
Could this also be the cause of why as a child we experience time as slower and time accelerates as we age? As we age, we become more preoccupied with past and future rather than the present.
