#ThursdayTreeLove – 31

“Be like a branch of a tree; flex your body to face ‘wind of sorrow’; flex little harder to dance in the ‘wind of happiness’.”

#ThursdayTreeLove – 31

I spotted this tree in the temple complex of Lepakshi and like it happens many times, I was not happy with the shot. However, the tree and its surroundings stole my heart. The best part was watching tourists getting pictures with the tree. So all you tree lovers, may our tribe increase.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog and is hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on January 25, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 30

  1. Yes indeed, may this tribe increase!! As Balaka said, I saw a similar tree in Hampi.. that was a Plumeria. As luck will have it, my post this week too is about a tree in a temple!! Happy to be part of this blog hop Parul 🙂

  2. Tress in the ruins or old temples have stories stored in them, only if they could speak in our language, If I were there at the temple I would have also stopped to admire this tree.
I have always loved gazing at trees but thanks to Thursday tree love, I have begun collecting trees wherever I go. As of now, I have a collection of many trees and my posts for Thursday Tree love are scheduled until Feb end 🙂

  3. While picture may not be perfect, it did impress you. So picture doesn’t matter, the tree does. It reminds me of a similar tree in Nahargarh Fort devoid of life. It just stood in the complex as an ornament. May be there’s a message…. somethings continue to live even after death. Just a thought. I wish there was a way to share picture in comments, Parul.

Anyways, after a long time, I’m posting for Thursday tree Love. Should be up in few minutes.

  4. I agree it’s sad to see the leaves losing shine but I love the surrounding ringing in simplicity and the root standing tall. Brilliant capture. The camera person has a penchant for art and pure divinity.
