An enthusiastic man

an enthusiastic man from Rajasthan, India

On our way back from Rajasthan, we were crossing a small village and were stuck in a small traffic jam. While we were waiting for the road to clear, I was looking around and trying to observe the surroundings.

Then I saw this man. He was a blacksmith and engrossed in his work. Being in the car, I wasn’t able to get a neat shot. But then while I was trying, he looked up and posed. He smiled and his smile filled up my frame. I smiled back and clicked a few shots before we moved on. I did wave back and said thank you.

This picture though not so clean is one of my favorites. It makes me smile every time I look at it.

Another portrait photography attempt with the Canon. Today’s post is my #60 of Wordless Wednesdays hosted by Esha and Natasha

  1. Such a warm smile you got there, Parul. Loving your candid portrait shots. I think you’re able to grab the essence of each character very beautifully! Keep them coming and so glad to see you join in with your photo post today. Look forward to more pics from you. 🙂

  2. Again, such a ‘Parul’ click this one. Who says it is not clean? It’s perfect.

Look at how happy and content he is doing what he does. A lot of us could learn a lot from him.

  3. It’s very clear to me, especially for a telephoto shot. These are my favorite kinds of photos, a combination of skill and good timing gave you a great portrait shot, a mode I should use more.
