Enroute Tawang on our North East India road trip, we stopped at a small cafe run by the Indian Army. We can talk about the idli there later but for now, above is how the scenery around that place looked. I clicked multiple shots and in each one, the mountains looked like a painting. As if Nature had herself, painted something so beautiful in grey and white. The clouds over the top of the hills added to the charm. It was real yet unbelievable.

Your picture brought back fading memories of a trip to NEFA when we went up to Tawang. And the food in Army messes is unbelievably comforting especially in those days when they were cooked on woodfires…..

That entire region is gorgeous, right, Parul?. But then India is incredible. We didn’t go as far as Tawang..we only covered Sikkim/Gangtok/Darjeeling. Planning to make a trip again!

I’ll check it out now. I have always wanted to go to Ladakh. I actually shared a flat with Ladakhi girls so I am already familiar with the culture and know many local people, just need to go there someday.
Plan a trip to Uttarakhand too. I am from a town called Pithoragarh which is called mini Kashmir. I am sure you’ll love it.
