#ThursdayTreeLove – 42

“It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.”

#ThursdayTreeLove – 42

I walk on this road almost every day. My quiet-green road like I prefer to call it. No traffic but only chirping birds and lovely green surroundings. When I first started taking this road, I noticed that this tree’s fruits were strewn on the road. And not just one day but every other day. So one day when I had the time and I wasn’t running to catch my ride, I looked up. What I saw made me happy. I had never seen a Fig Tree. This huge tree in my area is a beautiful Fig tree that bears many fruits. So much so that it is food for many squirrels and birds. Now I make a point to look up when I walk under the tree and hope that one day when a fig falls, I will be able to catch it.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on July 12, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. I can totally relate to your happiness. A part of me is childish enough to talk to my plants daily when i water them. It makes me happy when i see their leafs ruffle as i speak. I know that its the wind causing that action but for me it is as if they are responding to my talks 🙂 Loved reading this post!

  2. I love this! We have them in our area and the ground is covered with squashed fruit. 🙂 I just love how streets are lined with trees that meet on top, getting their branches tangled and forming a beautiful continuous arch! I hope you catch that fruit, Parul!

  3. I do love trees, and that is one of the reasons we love the UK. Makes such a difference in a community and softens the look of the buildings!
