I am a busy man

He was a part of a big group visiting the temples of Khajuraho. Similar age group and quite a big number of tourists. Curious about the carvings and trying to analyse everything on their own, they had come early in the morning to worship. Yes, sight-seeing wasn’t the intent of the bunch. This man though in spite of his wife’s repeated looks, wanted to close the conversation. He was sure a busy man.

Linking up with Esha and Natasha for #WordlessWednesday today and #76 for me.

  1. You take beautiful photos! I can only imagine his wife’s expression – was she really happy you were photographing him? I can imagine her laughing or rolling her eyes. I wonder what was so important about the call?

    1. Thank you Holly! Yes, she was quite impressed that her husband was getting clicked. I think they were from a village and they hadnโ€™t seen a woman (me) who would photograph a man. May be that made her kind of excited about what I was doing.

  2. Beautiful capture. I love the colour of his turban. He has a fading smile that is intriguing me, is it a happy smile or a bored one. Interesting man he is.

  3. Wow! I loved the shot and the backstory as well, Parul. I like how you got his eyes looking into the camera. Very tricky when you don’t know the subject because sometimes they do tend to look away when you’re clicking. So happy to have you link up for the first #WW of 2019. Looking forward to more such wondrous shots. ๐Ÿ™‚
