Words matter and more than we know and realize. What we say can make or break a relationship. It can bring joy or sorrow. And so much more.

You must be wondering what’s new in that? Isn’t it?

There is something new.

As bloggers, our words matter when we publish them as posts. The written words matter to us and we believe it does to our readers too. That’s why we call our readers, readers.

With that thought, Corinne, Shalini and I wanted to do something meaningful and new. We wanted to bring together bloggers like you who would like to join us once a month and make ‘words matter’. So on the first Friday of each month starting August 2, you will see us passing the baton to those interested.

Are you wondering what will you write about?

We have got you covered. We will give you a prompt and creative freedom. Easy. Isn’t it? The prompt for the inaugural edition is ‘Outside my window’.

Curious how will Words Matter work?

We will give you a google form where you can register and show us that you are in the game for that month. The prompt will be on the form too so you won’t miss. You can then start putting your post together. Remember, we gave you creative freedom too? In 3-4 days, we will send you a schedule. Check your mails or come back to this post. The schedule will be the order in which bloggers would go live. You need to then schedule your post for the day assigned to you and link up to the blogger before and after you. Something like, “I received this tag from Corinne and I am passing it on to Shalini.”

Then comes the most important part. Grab your favorite cuppa and read as many posts as you can. No pressure but do the right thing. Build your community, spread some love and cheer.
