If you have been around on this space, you know that I love the mountains. How I wish I had seen them more growing up or now if I could live around the mountains.
In 2017, when we were on our Ladakh road trip, ahead of Srinagar and before Sonamarg we stopped at this resort for a cup of tea. It was slightly cold and had started drizzling. The clouds came down a bit and below is what I saw.
Imagine a house like that. To me that looks like a dream.

Linking up with Esha and Natasha for Wordless Wednesday and this is #90 for me.
That’s such a beautiful picture! I can imagine what it’d be like to wake up there. I love mountains but the ocean/beach still has my heart!

I know you love the ocean. 😊

In Colorado Springs, we are surrounded by mountains. Still, I love visiting places near mountains and ofcourse staying in mountain towns. I love your pic.

It’s gorgeous though it looks much too large for a home. I mean, I’d die maintaining it unless I had an army of help.
Did I just take away from the romance of the place? I do love that sitout in the front.

This is certainly the house of one’s dreams. Exquisitely beautiful picture.
I would like to share with you the truth of my dreams. Now that I have been cleaning and tidying the house myself without any kind of house help for more than a year, my dreams have gone tiny. I dream of tiny houses and I change the background settings every night (if I am sleeping with my eyes closed) or on days (when I am sleeping with my eyes open). The setting changes from mountains to woods in the autumn to sea beach to on the shores of a lake. Sapne dekhne main kya jaata hai kyunki Simran ki mummy ne kaha tha, “Sapen dekho zarur par unke poore hone ki shart mat rakho.” 😀 😀

Yes you are right . It’s really a dream home.
When I was 5 yrs old my ma was posted in Chamoli – in the evening clouds used to enter through windows ( by chance if not closed) and our kerosene lamp used to burst ….
That was not scary but beautiful to see the clouds inside the house .
Imagine how exciting !!

Beautiful and blissful, Parul! I’d love to take a week long break to live in a place like that, completely cut off from civilisation, just read, go for long walks and meditate! Taking my dreams a bit too far, hai na?
