“No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”
– Lupita Nyong’o
I clicked this tree in Minneapolis, US in 2017. I was on my way to the hotel from the airport and already in awe of the open spaces and green trees. To me, this little house was perfect in many ways. And maybe that is why it stayed in my archives this long. Dreams are possible but dreams are also dreams. What’s important is that one should never stop dreaming.

I haven’t been to Minneapolis (and Minnesota) in many years, although I live in the United States. When I travel, I’ll think about the towns I pass through (especially on the train trip I have taken the last three years from Virginia to Florida and back) and what my life would have been like. I enjoy looking at my world from different eyes (visitors), too. They see the exotic in what we see as everyday. That house does look inviting, doesn’t it? I know what you mean. I also like train journeys when I can watch cities pass by and they world that they are in themselves. Thanks, Alana.
