Almost around the same time five years ago, we were exploring the Repulse Bay Beach in Hong Kong. This tree then had intrigued me. Memories are a beautiful thing. Do you see the many similar trees all around?

  6. The moment I saw the picture, I thought of Repulse Bay/ Stanley. And reading those lines underneath confirmed the same. Thanks for refreshing my memories. Stanley is certainly different from more popular areas like the TST and Victoria Harbor. Calm and peaceful.

  17. I don’t recall ever seeing trees like this on such a sandy terrain, and it makes them look all the more amazing. Beautiful quote to go with the photo – what a perfect paring, Parul!

    It’s just about 10pm here in my corner of the world, but I managed to put my post together. It was awesome to have the excuse to spend some time with my photos, after having such a busy week – I really appreciate having Tree Thursday as an excuse to stop and enjoy the trees!
