“Be natural at heart and new in mind.” ― Amit Kalantri

I was running an errand one full month and I would cross this tree everyday at least twice. Amongst the many things that are noticeable about this Peepal Tree, the one that strikes me the most is its shape. Do you also see that it looks like a heart?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on December 10, 2020. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Lovely capture, and just like we see images in clouds, you rightly captured the heart of the tree.
Even the circular spiral on trunk is beautiful and the man certainly seems to have posed for you.

It looks like a heart, and that might be in part due to the overhead lines that the tree grew around on top? Almost like the tree is saying “I don’t think you meant to put these in my way; I love you anyway”? I do see the heart! And I love that this tree is sheltering someone. The quote is interesting. Being natural in heart and new in mind sounds like a good balance of being grounded in the earth and open to new ideas. One of the things I love about people from all over the world sharing their favorite trees is that I get to learn about ones I’ve never heard of before. I haven’t seen (unless you’ve already shared one and it fell out of my brain) a Peepal before, but I definitely see the heart shape to this one! Nice capture & quote, Parul.
