#ThursdayTreeLove – 109

Sharing a blooming red Gulmohar tree from right outside my apartment complex. I spotted this tree on my walk this week. A walk after 30+ days. If you are a regular here and missed the last two posts, I wanted to share that both VT and I contracted COVID early May. We are better now but it was a very hard time. I am praying that the worst is behind us now and I am hopeful that things will be better. Apologies for not commenting on your posts and thank you for checking in on me. I know many of you kept me in your thoughts and prayers. I am very grateful for all your love and support.

In which ever part of the world you are, I wish you good health and happiness.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on June 24, 2021. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

  1. I will be commenting again when my post goes live (United States). I am so relieved at your news. I feared that is what happened, and yes, you have been in my thoughts. This is one tree I hope to see in person one day. We call them royal poinciana but they aren’t hardy where I live.

  2. I was worried about you in your absence, so I am thrilled to see this beautiful red tree and read about your walk. I’m so glad you are okay, and have recovered now. Take it easy though, no relapses please!

  6. Sorry to hear about contacting COVID and all the trouble it brought. I hope you were able to recover without a need for hospitalization. Good to know things are better. Take plenty of rest and keep your workouts gentle for the next few months. This comes from experience.
