#ThursdayTreeLove – 119

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.”

― Bruce Lee

ThursdayTreeLove-119

Before I share about the tree, I want to admit a mistake I made. Did you realize what happened on the last edition? The post came a day late on Friday. I was on time but I mixed up the dates and scheduled the post for Friday. It was only later on Friday that I understood the folly. My apologies if any one of you were wondering about this.

So now, about the tree. With the pandemic, the social distancing, and the need to stay home to stay safe I had stopped buying vegetables from a vendor who visits our apartment complex. Last Sunday was my first trip to buy the greens from the vendor and I noticed how beautifully the tree creates that welcoming place for one and all.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on December 23, 2021. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 118:

  1. I liked the quote parul, remember reading this quote in my school as a youngster, there used to inspiring quotes framed on the walls of the corridor. Nice to hear about your first trip and what a huge and magnificent tree. About your post on Friday, I did not notice with my busy schedule i was excited that i could connect with you here after all the technical problems 🙂

  2. I noticed but figured it might have been a WordPress glitch (which has happened to me on more than one occasion) that messed up the post scheduling. I was very happy to see it pop up in any case!

That does look like an awesomely welcoming spot for the vendor, and glad you’re able to visit again.

Here’s my (belated in posting, belated in sharing – seems to be a theme this week…lol) contribution to this Tree Love edition –

Love that Bruce Lee quote too, Parul and it was a great reminder for me to shift my focus at the moment. Sending lots of love to you and yours.

  3. I like the quote, Parul. We all need the strength to keep moving forward no matter how hard it gets.
I love the tree and the shade it’s casting. I forgot to join last week. Will publish mine this week. 🙂
