International Blog Delurking Week – 2022

International Blog Delurking Week – Jan 3-9, 2022

Can you believe another year just flew by?

First Monday of 2022 and here I am welcoming you all to the International Blog Delurking Week of 2022. If you have been around, you know this is an annual ritual here.

Every year during the first week of January, I invite you to delurk and say hello to me. I know you stop by, sometimes read a few posts here and there and then you head off. But during this week, I love knowing who knocked at my door and stopped by.

This year, happiness and food will turn 9. While 2021 was quiet on this space, I am not yet ready to let this space go. So I will continue to write on and off. If nothing more, a little more than before. I miss my blogging community of the past, the camaraderie, the writing marathon weeks and monthly blog hops. Impermanence is the truth of life and I won’t fight that.

Enough of me now. How about you say hello and make me smile?

If you are someone who likes to go the extra mile, tell me which city/country are you reading this post from? Share with me what are your hopes for 2022.

So do we have a deal? Will you say hello and let me say thanks?

If you are a blogger and would like to join any time during the week, feel free to use the badge above and link to this post. If you don’t see a pingback, please leave a comment with you post’s link. And guess what? I promise I won’t lurk.

  1. Not a lurker on your blog, Parul! In fact I love this beautiful space of yours and have been a regular here ever since the start of my own blogging journey some 7 years back. I am so glad we’ve continued to stay connected through the years even though the blogging community itself has come to be somewhat fragmented now. I guess it is this handful of familiar faces and names who still give me the feel of being connected on the blogosphere and you are one of them, Parul.
As you said, I too hope, that in 2022 we write and blog more!
A very Happy New Year to you, Parul.

P.S. Thank you so much for the timely reminder. It was a pleasure joining you for this one :).

  2. You are right, Parul. I missed reading your random thoughts in 2021. But, thank god for #ThursdayTreeLove. I, too, miss those yesteryears of blogging days when we used to participate in different blog hops and interact with each other almost every other day like it was the end of the world. I am sure this year I will see more on your lovely blog. After all, we need happiness and food, more and more. 😘

  4. Wish you a very happy new year Parul. I miss reading your wonderful road trip posts. Don’t let this space go. Being quiet is ok as life sometimes takes over. But when things settles down, we all will find each other again through these blogs.
