#ThursdayTreeLove – 130

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something. ~ Neil Gaiman

ThursdayTreeLove-130

About a fortnight back, I stepped out after two long years for a work event that was hosted at an outside location. It was a feeling I had forgotten about. It was a good day. I loved the conversations and the location for this event. It was green with trees with a small body of water and many birds around. For as far as I could see, there was greenery. While I was there for work, my mind wandered a lot. I wondered how lovely it would be to have a house in woods. Where I can hear birds around and see the clouds and the sky. Where there are no skyscrapers and no sound of traffic. Looks like if given a chance, countryside would be my happy place.

What about you?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on June 9, 2022. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

    1. So you almost had best of both worlds 🙂 I would love to go back to rural area that is well equipped with technology and connectivity. Chirping of birds and clear skies is all i hope for. Hard to find that in India though. Thanks, Alana!

  1. Looks at that heart-like foliage! ❤
    That's a pretty picture.
As for the countryside, I'm home, there. And my escapes to the countryside (and mountains) have been the most rejuvenating!

I'll be back on TTT soon, Parul.

  2. Of late I shifted to new apartment and my new mornings remind me of my childhood. The society is on outskirts of Bangalore, and mornings are filled with silence, chirping of birds and luckily from last two days I can hear peacock.. it’s so mesmerizing! Living in woods is something which I long for. With growing age, I think we all have developed a less attraction towards sky scrappers, fast life; we just want peace now.

  3. That looks beautiful, Parul. So calm and pleasant. Greenery has that effect on us, doesn’t it? I will join this week for sure. Missed out on my dose of #ThursdayTreeLove a little too much. ❤️
