“Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”
― Abraham Lincoln
This February when I went on a hike up a local hill (Nandi Hills), on my way back I spotted this bougainvillea shrub and small trees around. These were blooming and had turned the road pink. For all my love of trees, flowers and everything in between, here is me happy about what I found.
And everytime I see something that makes me smile, I make it a point to get a picture for myself. I know it’s silly but that’s my idea of joy. A reminder that happiness can be a road full of pink blooms.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on April 25, 2024. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Oh I love Bougainvilleas (even though they’re crazy hard to spell :-)). My dad says all they need is a lot of sunshine and they’re good to go. That pink is gorgeous.

The bougainvillea and your smile completes the picture perfectly. The bloom can also be seen on your face Parul. You reminded me of my visit to Nandi Hills a few years ago. I had loved the place a lot.
