We should always have three friends in our lives-one who walks ahead who we look up to and follow; one who walks beside us, who is with us every step of our journey; and then, one who we reach back for and bring along after we’ve cleared the way. ~Michelle Obama

I was in office last week and stepped out to get on to my cab back home when I spotted the tree on the left. It has been raining in Bangalore so the tree was happy and green. Then I looked up and smiled even more.
How is the weather in your part of the world?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on July 11, 2024. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove -167

It is so nice that a tree made you smile and that you thought about the tree being happy. I think those thoughts too sometimes. Is that a tulip tree?
The weather here in Virginia is so hot and humid this days….

It must be a Raintree. There are many in Bangalore and particularly green in monsoons. Thanks for joining, Marina.

When you look up, it changes your perspective, especially if you are also seeing the upper parts of a tree. Your quote makes me wonder which person I am in the lives of those I intersect with. Here’s my link: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2024/06/tree-trio-thursdaytreelove.html

I’m writing that quote in my journal! And I love the tree–especially the “looking up” perspective. Happy tree days ahead!

Lovely tree! Just what one needs to see in the middle of a working day! According to weather experts, monsoon has set in here but typical Pune style rain has not yet started. I missed the last edition of TTL. Here is my tree https://yenforblue.blogspot.com/2024/06/twin-trunk-thursdaytreelove.html

Thanks Archana. Bangalore has been cold and rainy but yes, Sun also shines and I get to see rainbows. So I am not complaining. I also missed last edition so I guess these things happen.

The Happy Fresh Green Blooms. In monsoons its a bliss to see fresh greens on trees. I keep watching the varied shades of greens that are relaxing to sight and sure to bring a smile with rains.
