ThursdayTreeLove – 190

One afternoon post lunch, my peer and friend MH and I went for a quick walk after lunch. He took me around the Oak Grove Park that had many trees but the park was dominated by Oaks. MH showed me the acorns and as we walked over and around these little dried acorns, I knew this is how you identify a might big Oak.

It feels like my tree identification skill is now up by one more with Oaks added to the list. Always fun and joy to find a new tree to ID. Isn’t it?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on September 11, 2025. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove -189

  1. I love the quote and the tree. I got a post ready on Thursday (in the US) and looked for your post yesterday and the day before but did not see a tree love post until today. I guess I should have just published it Thursday anyway. Maybe next Thursday.

  2. The branches of Oak tree are lovely. The quote certainly brings in the positivity in life to never give up hope. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Parul, I’m not sure why my last post was not linked to this Tree Love even when i had commented well before 28th and you had replied to it also. But no worries, I’m sharing the same link again, hope that’s fine.
