Have you ever thought about the Sun? No, not like the star at the center of the Solar System. Like that omnipresent being who warms and makes our lives bright. Though we know the exact time it rises and sets, it changes every moment. We know it’s there high up shining and before even the Sun knows, things change.
It is strong but it also has its own down time. The night, those clouds, the eclipses to name a few. They overshadow it and take the power away. And it must hurt. But have you seen it sulking? Be like the Sun. Shine and stay strong when you can. When you cannot, let it go. Like the clouds and the night, the tough phase will pass too.
Life is not so stable. A moment things go as per plan and the next, they change. Be resilient to what’s changing around you and stay put.
For day 26 of #NaBloPoMo, this is my take on miniature writing challenge #70.
What a beautiful comparison Parul! Learn from the sun to never sulk and always be strong. Loved it!

No, the sun never sulks. We see just a small part of it. It shines for everyone all around or world, and never takes a holiday. Rain or shine, we can depend on the sun. One thing I am grateful for, because without the sun, there would be no life.

Nice thoughts to end the week for me. I saw the sunrise against New York skyline this morning, so it kind of resonates with this post.

Such an important life lesson, told so elegantly, Parul. I have striving hard to be the sun for a while now, and I can tell confidently that I am almost getting there.
I hope the power shines for a long time to come.

The sun sure signifies strength and resilience. And despite a down time, it leaves a a cooling effect to mellow one day probably conveying, ” be strong but be humble tooo””…..
