#ThursdayTreeLove – 28

“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.”

#ThursdayTreeLove – 28
A tree in Simla

I spotted this tree in Simla and how it stood alone in its surrounding impressed me. Don’t we all need to at some point in our lives?

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog and is hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on December 14, 2017. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 27 which by the way, wasn’t a B&W picture. Surprised? Go check it out again.

  1. I love how well you captured the pine standing tall and straight against the gorgeous backdrop! (My hometown Kohima used to be uncannily similar). Beautiful quote and an essential life lesson to live by!

  2. Very good and correct quote. But it is irony also that we are alone among many people and I don’t like to be alone .it is depressing.

  4. I loved that quote, Parul, and am going to save it for myself, to read it and remind me of it from time to time. We are the best people to take care of us, stand up for us, love us and forgive us, till the end of time.

  5. Thursday Tree Love is a wonderful idea Parul. Trees have so much wisdom. There is a stand of ancient cedar and Douglas fir trees about 45 minutes from my home that I like to visit at least once a year. You can not help but feel at peace amongst these giants.
