“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”
― Roald Dahl
I won’t say much. Just that I found the above picture magical. A very close friend of mine clicked this and sent it over to me. She knows that I love trees and clicking too. So when she spotted this, she thought of me. To me, that’s the magic of friendship. What do you think?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on October 24, 2019. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.

I liked the Raintree Parul, and so thoughtful of your friend, agree friends are magical as they help us find in ourselves what we are not able to see. Loved your quote too. Thanks for sharing, here’s my link :https://livealifeofgratitude.blogspot.com/2019/10/tree-love-66.html

Your friend is a true friend. It makes me think of the friend who is my “guest photographer” (although I haven’t featured her work lately) sharing photos is a way we keep in touch with each other. My post: https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2019/10/first-fall-color-thursdaytreelove.html

Gorgeous! I love the big brown tree trunks running from here to there and the silver sky lines running between the trunks and the leaves as if they are meant to be there. This is so evocative. Good job, Parul’s friend and thank you for sharing, Parul. 🙂

It must be a big shady tree. I agree with the miracle of friendship just like the Roald Dahl’s quote.

Oh thats such a lovely thought Parul-its truly a blessed friendship. I love raintrees too and was fascinated by them when I first saw them in Bangalore about 10 years back. Their vast spreading canopies had me entranced to the core. I happened to sight some in Kochi a few years back and was transported back to these memories.
I hope you like my entry for this edition; I had gone for a tree walk in Lodhi garden and clicked this tree as I loved the anecdote surrounding it.

That seems a beautiful green shady tree. I’m sure below its long branches a huge tree trunk says it has seen a lot. Lovely click and angle of pic is perfect.
