“Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.” -Margaret Mead
This is a tree you have seen before on this space. February and March every year, my city turns pink and the Pink Poui or Rosy Trumpet Tree is the one that makes the city pretty. Our very own local cherry blossom. This one is clicked from my balcony and is a looking down shot. Have you seen this one in your part of the world?
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on March 11, 2021. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Hello Parul, Beautiful click and perfect quote to start a day. There are couple of those trees in our layout which yet to bloom, waiting for it but I do see these blooms in other part of Bangalore.

Yes! No Archana but the Sun played some trick there. There are some shades of purple and pick but each tree usually has one color. Thanks Archana!

I have not seen a Rosy Trumpet in my part of the world. We do have other flowering trees, but not quite so many beautiful blossoms as your treasure. What a great perspective from your balcony! No tree like that in my temperate clime. No, what we have is snow, as you can witness here https://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2021/02/the-witnesses-thursdaytreelove.html

You will have your spring season trees soon, Alana. Isn’t it? And this should be last of snow too. How is the weather there?

Aren’t these trees simply gorgeous, Parul? I love the blooms that turn our roads into a floral carpet when the blooms start to fall. Joining with one of my travel pics today. Here goes:

Interesting. I never knew this tree exists in Bangalore. Certainly replicates Cherry Blossom to a certain degree.

Dear Parul,
I just noticed my comment didn’t come through from last week.
I love this quote:
“Just as cherry, plum, peach and damson blossoms all possess their own unique qualities, each person is unique. We cannot become someone else. The important thing is that we live true to ourselves and cause the great flower of our lives to blossom.” ~ Daisaku Ikeda
Wishing you love and light.

So nice to see a bit of pink. As I was leaving campus yesterday, I noticed one of the trees was fully blossomed out in pink! Spring is oh so near! I missed tree love this week (work, work, work), but here’s a little more tree art from not too long ago: https://iamchandralynn.com/2018/11/02/you-are-here-to-risk-your-heart/

I’ve seen cherry trees blossom like that in my area, but not this early in the year. What a beautiful capture, Parul!
