International Blog Delurking Week – 2023

I am still finding it hard to believe that we are in 2023. How is it possible that every gone year looks like it flew by?

First Monday of 2023 and here I am welcoming you all to the International Blog Delurking Week of 2023. If you have been around, you know this is an annual ritual here.

Every year during the first full week of January, I invite you to delurk and say hello to me. I know you stop by, sometimes read a few posts here and there and then you head off. But during this week, I love knowing who knocked at my door and stopped by.

I blogged atleast once a month in 2022. There were fewer personal posts in the last year but there were a few I loved. I will try to maintain that and will push for more. Blogging and sharing thoughts and happiness on this space brings me joy. Things have changed in the content space but I am not ready to let go the medium and the connections I have made here. Like everything, maybe reading content will again become the usual thing? And if not, we will see.

Enough of me now. How about you delurk and say hello?

If you are someone who likes to go the extra mile, tell me which city/country are you reading this post from?

So do we have a deal? Will you say hello and let me say thanks?

If you are a blogger and would like to join any time during the week, feel free to use the badge above and link to this post. If you don’t see a pingback, please leave a comment with you post’s link. And guess what? I promise I won’t lurk.

  2. Yes, the blogging space had changed in the recent years. But, like you, I am not ready to let go of the connections I made through blogging and how blogging has made me feel all these years. I do miss the energy and enthusiasm the blogging world once had, but I am hopeful. Love the new year spirit that pushes everyone back into the blogging space. 🙂

  3. You know, Parul that for the past three years I have been joining you for this and I think it’s a great way to revive the connections with our fellow bloggers, as we all get started on a new blogging year. I’ve been a regular visitor on your lovely blog ever since I stepped into the blogosphere some 8 odds years back and you are one of the few that I’ve stayed connected with, blogging or not. I’ve enjoyed your honest, heartfelt writing always and your #treelove posts have had my heart. It’s so wonderful that as we start another year with new adventures and challenges following us as as they do, we also begin with the promise of another year of writing, sharing and connecting with each other!
Thanks so much for the nudge to join in for this one, Parul. I also created a new Twitter account just yesterday, after being badly let down by them last year (they cancelled my account thrice in a row!!!)
Fingers and toes crossed this time! 🤞😉
