#ThursdayTreeLove – 174

The things that I see as I walk along the streets — a little flower that blooms in May, a lovely sunset at the end of a day, someone helping a stranger along the way — that’s heaven to me. ~Sam Cooke

Last month, I was out with my peers for a lunch. It was a great time together and then to wrap our day, we walked across the street to get some filter coffee. As we reached this place that is an iconic joint in Bangalore called the Airlines Hotel, I spotted this old and big Banyan tree. Sharing some some shots that show my joy.

Some of my peers wondered why I was so excited and some played along to click for me. I explained that I love trees more than the average person.

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on October 24, 2024. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.

If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove -173

  1. This Banyan tree is really an attractive tree. And so interesting looking. Is it a live tree? It looks kind of dry and I cannot see any green. I have to go and research on it.
It is so nice to see these different trees from other parts of the world. Thanks for hosting this…

  2. What a gorgeous old, wise tree. The wisdom of trees is beyond unfathomable and the advice they dispense when we speak to them, is so very apt.

    Hello dear Parul,

It’s been a while and it’s lovely to hop into your neck of ‘woods”.

Sending you good, happy autumn vibes from my neck of woods. 🙂

Thought I’ll join in with a post from the rainforests of Agumbe. Here’s a tree I was besotted by- the Warty Marble tree (also known as Fake Rudraksh). A few critters are also joining this party with your permission.

Ditto happenes with me, even I have to explain everytime I am lost in admirirng and clicking the beautiful trees around the place I am visiting. My friends or family are surprised at my excitment and are equally amused clulessly looking at me with a look that says – what is so amazing in this tree or sky or flower I am randomly clicking.

So happy to see I have also shared a banyan tree in this post above.
