“We keep searching for things all our life, yet seldom do we notice them!”
― Avijeet Das
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog hosted on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The next edition will be live on May 24, 2018. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 38:
That’s so true Parul. I would like to add that often these things are often also very close to us… Your tree must offer a wonderful respite from heat growing as it does in a grassy”island”! Here’s my tree for the week http://yenforblue.blogspot.in/2018/05/twisted-trunk-thursdaytreelove.html

I thought at first, “that poor tree, confined to a grassy traffic island”. But that tree is an inspiration to us – thrive where you are planted. And, it provides shade to all those commuters who walk past it. Here’s my tree (actually, three trees): http://ramblinwitham.blogspot.com/2018/05/lesson-of-bradford-pear-thursdaytreelove.html

You are right. Initially I too felt odd but then its size and the fact that it makes the surrounding so green. Thank you for joining!

So pretty! Right in the middle of tar, too.
They’re cutting down baby trees along the outer ring road, P 😦

😦 So sad! It’s just so bad that on one had we want greenery and on the other we are using artificial trees.

Thanks to this feature, and you, I am keeping an eye out for trees everywhere I go. Even though I am totally not the outdoorsy type.
Love your choice of quote! 🙂
