“THEY HAVE MET”. This message was the best birthday gift he could have received. He was proud of his technologically advanced team who in just a matter of days tracked down the owner of the blog “Cyrious Talks & Some Cyrious Affairs”. He always felt that his men should have been Data Scientists and could easily grab and get offered jobs in the companies. It was Aryan Ahuja’s birthday and what better gift for the Big Boss than identities revealed. Aryan’s man was relieved of delivering his best on this day.
When Aryan came in to the corporate world, he moved up the ladder in no time. He was hardworking, smart, knew what strings to pull and where, and was fortunate to bag some great assignments that took him to the heights of being AVP of large publishing house in UK. Travel to places that were unexplored was one interest that he had picked up during his early career. The lust for power makes us all do things that conscience would not allow. Something similar happened, and Himalayas not just became a tourist destination for Aryan but a place where no one else could even fathom of what’s cooking. The best part about that part of India is lack of proper network – be it cellular, railways or roadways – everything fails there. It’s a total lack of habitat and hence the best place to hold meetings and chalk out plans of mass destruction. This was the world he was known as ALPHA.
Back in Mumbai, no one knew that Aryan Ahuja is the same guy and INSIGNIA was his brain child.Fed up with rampant corruption, no value for human life and strong extremist views on every other thing happening in India, Insignia operated in a highly confidential manner. They never used emails or phone calls to plan or discuss anything. The Himalayas used to the meeting place and travel used to be on every body’s mind. Alpha was against sacrificing more lives than necessary and this was one rule that he literally worshiped more than anything else. Last time when this amateur photographer got too close to tracking Alpha’s activities while exploring Ladakh, there was no other option than to break this rule. But this time, he wanted to nip it in the bud before it gets too late. Sad Darius had to face this so early in his life.
Even the team that Alpha built for himself was of highly educated professionals who knew their subject more than anybody. They used the basic laws of operating systems, digital communication, data networks and even digital electronics to succeed in every assignment that they took up. For quite some time now, Alpha felt that somebody was starting to know more about Insignia than what was required. A little research revealed that this blogger was digging more than he should have and Alpha had to get the situation under control. This was when a code red was punched. His team had delivered again.
“This time, not just the budding lawyer but this girl too seems to be interested a lot. Not sure if there is a connection with the past incident or maybe this is another random set of people poking their noses into where they should not.” With this though Alpha poured him a drink and wondered what loose ends should he tie or just handle it case by case. May be this is how this kind of business runs!
Finding this neighborhood was again simple for Alpha. He had known Shekhar and Tara though they both never realized they were being followed. When Alpha decided to settle down as Aryan Ahuja, he sensed that no place was better than the neighborhood that was posh and worthy of somebody his stature. There were a couple of hidden interests too. Being a good judge of personalities, he was hopeful of adding another member to his crew and this person came with an equally passionate set of thoughts.
What was about to happen next was unfathomable…
