Wordless Wednesday #12

A lot of people fear public speaking. What adds to the fear is speaking in front of the people you don’t even know.

Today, this lady was singing melodiously when there were many folks chatting, involved in meetings, having tea, exploring Green Haat and having a good time. Would you be able to give your best shot in front of  a bunch of strangers and knowing that they are not really listening?

Kudos to this lady! We need more women like her who can raise their voice and make their presence felt!

Singing alone..
Singing alone..

I am loving the weather in Bangalore. It is so pleasant and lovely! Happy Holi in advance everyone!

This is also the 12/nth post on WW.

  1. Yes, it takes courage to speak in public.
I am learning on this through Toastmasters…i used to Anchor shows in front of a huge crowd earlier, but i think continuing with the flow is very important.

  2. I fear public speaking, singing, walking and just anything in public, except blogging of course. I just wish I am invisible sometimes. And imagine, sometimes I have to sing in front of public coz people always are like ‘Ranjini will sing a song for us now.’. I start shivering from top to toe, my hands and feet turn cold and my fingers become numb. Sometimes, the shiver could be heard in my singing too.
I would do anything for singing in a place like this (if I have to), where people are minding their own business rather than a place where people would be staring at me :/.
I know there will be many prepared to murder me after reading this comment. 😛

And yes, Kudos to that lady 🙂
