My mind is a mish mash of many ideas/thoughts today and I am not able to pick that “one” thing that’s on top of the list.
For a moment I get emotional thinking it was Mother’s Day yesterday and with FB timeline being flooded with people posing with their mothers, going out to spend a day with her, taking a selfie and what not, I am sitting here over a thousand miles away from my Mum thinking about her. (The good thing is that she will be home in a month and I will get to see her after a year). Then my mind wanders to writing and I don’t know what should I write about – mother, love, microblog, click a picture of something upside down for FMS photo of the day or should I really pen a Gratitude List? Then I think of the books that I need to review and knowing myself – I want to finish one and then go to the other. I again hop on to the other thought of going to Yoga class tomorrow morning and then the challenge of getting up early cycling my way to Yoga makes me feel what a task!
The weather outside is so lovely so should I just take a walk or fold the clothes – what should I really do or should I just watch television?
Gosh, what a day this is with my heart and mind in a million things yet nothing..

Totally understandable, Parul. Now most of my days are like this. I want to write, meditate, then ideas flood my head, then I want to relax, it changes t restlessness to irritated to relaxed to.. I am not sure! 🙂

I have more of these days than regular un-writer’s-block days. Very irritating. So many things just bubbling at the surface, and I wouldn’t be able to figure out what to pick.

You’re having a busy stretch. Having your work lined up is good. Maybe make a list of what needs to be done in priority order? Hope everything gets done soon.

I have many such days. Just ago ahead and pick the first thing you see. Btw, going to a yoga class on a bicycle, that sounds super fun. And if weather is nice, it’s simply superb.

Somehow you’ve just described my own mind…I like how you put it, ” in a million things yet nothing.”
My mom not around on Mother’s Day, books unread on my nightstand, yoga….which I think I’ll go to soon in order to quiet the chatter.
Nice to “meet” you through #microblogmondays
