Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on this blog. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog and link back to this post. Next week, I will link your posts on my blog and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.

When I had lived in B’lore for a while, I would go out once a week with my camera and shoot these flowering trees that just have me smitten with their gorgeous colours. The Tabebuthia or the trumpet flower which bloomed last month in yellows, pale pink and a deep magenta i smy favourite. I have done blog posts on these too!!
(For some reason I cant comment as me on your blog – its picking up Dashy!)

Thank you, Shalini. Crepe myrtle don’t grow where I live (not hardy enough) but I am familiar with them from other places I lived in long ago. That is a beautiful shrub/tree. The leaves were vaguely familiar; if I could have seen the bark better I would have made the ID. I love trumpet flowers, too, although I don’t know if what we call trumpet flowers are your trumpet flowers. They come commonly in orange and less commonly in yellow.
