What’s happiness and food without food pictures, right?
Today was special. I love unplanned things and more so when there are others involved who make the entire experience awesome.
We had a wonderful chance to eat authentic ‘Hong Kong style’ lunch this afternoon. I do not remember any names but the top left was a dessert with mango flavor.
Rest everything was part of the main course and tasted very unique, light and delicious. Main ingredients included sea food, beef, pork and rice. Like two extremes – we had both steamed and deep-fried stuff. The sauces were different too and I am sure my taste buds were taken on a trip. Hot Jasmine tea to sip in between added to the flavorful experience. I guess it was the tea that I was able to eat so much. May be it acted like an appetizer.
Not to forget the dessert was complimentary. India – are you listening?

Janet and Carmen – Thank you for thinking of this place, suggesting food items to eat and answering the many questions we had! You both are kind and very warm.
Today was one of the best days we had in Hong Kong and it will not be forgotten.

Can I blame you a bit for the waistline that is increasing day by day?

Yum Yum wish I was there! I just love Chinese food especially Dim Sum. I’ve just returned from a month in Singapore and still have the taste of that delicious food still in my mouth…….

Beautiful photos. I stopped myself from saying ‘Mouth watering’ because those items have meat and I’m a vegetarian 🙂
