Relativity is not meant to stay in Physics text books. It’s a part of our lives.
Have you ever observed how photography can make things look closer and bigger? Something that’s small depends on where you are looking from.
Life is no different. We see everything relative to some other thing.
“They are rich”.
“She is beautiful.”
“Her life is one that of luxury.”
“They travel a lot”.
“He has lost a lot of weight”.
“She owns a villa.”
You get the drift? So, even before you think of comparing one thing to the other, know that it’s all about where you are looking from.

Absolutely loved your views. Specially in this age of social media, one can easily fall victim to comparisons.

Life is always about perspective. I love the analogy. It’s wonderful to see the happy pictures online and get sacked into a vortex of sadness but we have no idea what the test if their lives are like. Always a good thing to exercise compassion.

Yes it’s all a matter of perception . From which angle you are seeing things. Loved the photo and deep thoughts this first day of Diwali

Its all about perspectives indeed. And its amazing how the same thing can have different perspectives amongst many individuals. So even if its photography or our own eys and mind, it is the way we get to look at it!

It’s so true Parul and we often judge people or make hypothetical observations which are often flawed. One should avoid comparisons with others but grow at every juncture in point.

Yes, your words are so true! We live a life full of comparisons. Every action of ours, everything we own is compared. It would be so good, if we appreciated what we had rather than comparing oneself with others.

True that many things that we do or think are relative. Pic is great.

Well said, Parul! Most of the times, we make judgements based on what we see…and not what we know. In short, we ought to look before we leap! And, change our perspectives. 🙂 And, stop making those judgements!

True that. It’s all a matter of perspective- whether you’re looking down, up, ahead or back.

Awesome click. This is definitely food for thought. How we perceive things and from what angles? And those angles? Where do they come from?
