Life is a race and we are all running to make ends meet. It is not about who is the breadwinner or who keeps the home. Life has the skills to engulf us all. It is only normal that we go through the cycle of getting absorbed, realizing it’s not worth the effort and then breaking free. To add to the fun, we guide others to focus and get absorbed. Then leave them to find their own way.
Sounds silly I know but this cycle also teaches us lessons. That of humility, respect, dignity of labor, standing up for ourselves and perseverance.

While walking towards the Pebble Bay beach in Hong Kong, I spotted this lady. Something about her intrigued me. She was engrossed and also wanted to sell those knick knacks to the passersby. It was a juxtaposition as I saw it but then, who said life was simple?
I am participating in the third edition of Barathon and today is day 2. You will see me running a marathon of photo/travel posts on this space from July 2-15 every other day. Have a good time!
Also joining Esha and Natasha for Wordless Wednesday. My #64 this week.

There’s something so pure yet strong about this snap. I am in awe of the way you connect things so beautifully.

Thought-provoking! True life is a race but do we know the objective of this race… is it to win or is it complete it at our own pace while enjoying it as well!

Life has no meaning if aren’t struggling in some manner. If we stop struggling, we stop living. That’s what I feel.
