“Sometimes we can only find our true direction when we let the wind of change carry us.” ~ Mimi Novic
Welcome to the first Thursday Tree of 2022! I hope you are well and taking care of yourself.
Today, I have a tree that I clicked on the first of January while I was running a quick errand to the nearby market. The Sun was about to set and the Sun rays were filtering through the cloud. Against that backdrop, this tree had leaned over the road as if saying hello.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature hosted on this blog on every 2nd and 4th Thursday of a month. The next edition will go live on January 27, 2022. If you would like to play along, post a picture of a tree on your blog, tell me where did you spot the tree and link it back to this post.
If you don’t see the pingback, please leave a link to your post in my comments section. Please make sure that your post’s link is showing up on this latest edition. I will link your posts on my blog in the next edition and spread some love. Let’s come together to appreciate the beautiful nature around us.
Before you go, don’t forget to check the lovely trees shared on #ThursdayTreeLove – 120:

Hello Tree! Hello 2022! Such a profound quote Parul! The more I read it, the more meanings it throws up! Here is my tree .. https://yenforblue.com/2022/01/13/a-tree-and-a-nursery-rhyme-thursdaytreelove/

This is for Archana. I have tried two browsers and couldn’t comment on your blog. It keeps telling me I need to type a comment but my comment was typed, so I am putting it here (Parul hope you don’t mind) “Yes to both! We have some local mulberry trees. I’ve found some bear bitter fruit and some more delicious fruit. Homeowners don’t like them because when the fruits fall on the sidewalk, it makes a big mess. The fruits will also stain clothes. I have heard of the “female prisoners exercising” theory of the nursery rhyme, too but what I didn’t know was their possible long life span. Thank you for sharing that picture of the 2,500 year old tree on the temple grounds.” I Hope you get this comment!

Thanks Alana! Thanks Parul! 🙏🏻 I absolutely don’t know how to resolve this other than revert to my old blog host. ☹️

It does look like it’s saying hello, or at least bending to watch. Here’s my next tree love offering: https://joannaoftheforest.wordpress.com/2022/01/13/thursday-tree-love-breathe-a-poem/

I love the idea of the tree saying hello. It is similar to the trees in my post this week too. I felt they were saying, “welcome home.”
